Madison Equine Clinic- Wellness Programs

     These wellness programs have been designed to maintain optimal health in your horses and to aid in the prevention of life-threatening and costly illness.  Please contact our office for specific details and costs.

General Wellness Program
This program includes 2 spring and 1 fall physical and dental examination, appropriate spring and fall vaccinations, fecal examination, nutritional consultation, Coggins test, 2 bags of Equi-Shine vitamin and mineral supplement, one of two specifically designed deworming programs and three farm calls. Should the doctors deem a Power Float necessary, a 20% discount will be given on this service.

Supreme Wellness Program
This program includes all of the components of the General Wellness Program as well as a laboratory screen consisting of a complete blood count and blood chemistry panel.

Geriatric Wellness Program
This program, designed for the older animal, is similar in content to the Supreme Wellness Program, with a particular emphasis on the health issues facing the aging animal.

Weanling Wellness Program
This program covers the preventative health care needs from birth to 9 months of age.  It includes a neonatal foal examination, IgG test, an initial set of vaccinations at 5-6 months of age, subsequent booster vaccinations, appropriate deworming, dental examination as an older foal, and a nutritional consultation.
